Is getting into google news tough ?

Some people on the Marketplace offer that kind of service for pretty much any niche, so there's got to be a way. Maybe search there and get in touch with sellers.

Check for services that guarantees Google new placement. I saw some services in the market place which does that.

I have a Brazilian friend which has a quite popular air travel news website. He has been writing for his blog for almost 5 years and have tons of unique content and real backlinks. Recently I developed him a new look for his Wordpress site and I applied for Google news for him... The following morning the status was: Included and new posts started to show up on Brazilian Google news. I have tried with some sites of mine but without success. So I guess you gotta have a nice design, tons of original content, etc.

Getting content published in news by publishing it on a site included in Google news is easy. Getting your own website approved in Google News (which is done manually by their team), so every new piece of content appears in Google News, is a whole different story.
Like Tiago said you need an established site consisting of real news. There maybe some exceptions like T2kid mentioned, but most of these copy & paste sites are very old and were included many years ago, when rules for inclusion were less strict and fooling the Google News team into believing you are a newspaper was much easier.

I WASTED TIME and MONEY getting into google news.
It cost $$$ to pay writers to write several news articles everyday, I got in google news and I got ZERO traffic from it.
You have to be completely white hat by the way.
It's the same story as google organic search, old established sites are going to get the priority.
In my experience it is NOT worth the time.

Its fairly easy to get in if your site has regularly updated GOOD content that is news worthy. Also you need to make sure you follow Google News guidelines. I have had a few sites accepted without any problems.
