I tried to verify a few different websites on g00gle business through instant verification, and every time it wasnt possible and I have to go through postcard verification. Of course I did some research on that and it seems like an instant verification is only possible if there is already an unverified business listing or if the business has many citations. So from what I found instant verification is useless for new websites / businesses. What do you think? Is it possible to verify a new business website without postcard? My process for verification was: - tracked with analytics - verified with webmaster tool - local onpage optimization - few citations for website. waited until they are indexed - after these steps are done, I tried to verify it on g00gle business. First I need to verify my account per phone although I used an aged gmail account which has been already phone verified. The problem is that the account has been verified through a US phone number, but since I dont live there I have to use a phone number from an European country (the business website is in the same country and city as the phone number). For verification of the account this seems to be not a problem, but after this step I can only chose the postcard verification. I´m not sure whether this is a general issue or whether it comes from the mismatch of the initial account verification (US) and the verification now (Europe).
