im asking here becuse this is the best IM marketing forum i know.

lets say i want to advertise somthing thats free, like a programming tutorial. mods will still delete it everywhere.

these people (forum/facebook mods) 99% of the times dont get paied to do this. in reddit they automatically delete if you dont have karma which is a bitch to get.

i know they started deleteing spam ads since the 90s. but realy isnt there any effective place to advertise to a target market for free?

and i dont mean those places where they let you advertise and no one (except advertisers) see those posts ever.

well unless you have a good friend with a huge forum or facebook group i cant think of alot of ways.

Hi, not of course, there already a lot of competitors and you can earn money only if you spent a lot. Sure you can work 24/7 and get something but you need to think if it will worth of it.

My advice is to learn some niche you like and get into it. You can try influence on Youtube like how to earn money or promote some kind of campaigns from network.

But you need to have traffic source to really get the earnings.

Also you can learn about adwords

Free internet marketing is still possible. Someone who sells IM courses would know how easy it is to sell without spending a dime. Secret is affiliates.

It is not possible any way you look at it, you must invest before something happens positively

But to sell courses you need the resources, and its Money again. Or its will be hard with these amount of selling courses people.

i get that i need to invest in ppc cpm even a small amount.

but to get exposure for a free tutorial? realy? somthing else that happend to me, they didnt let me advertise a free 1 hour lesson (im a java tutor) on a computer science forum...dont you have students that might benefit from theis "no the forum rules are a law from god!".

isnt giving stuff for free is for free exposure? why would i pay to give somthing for free? ye it might get me a handful of clients. but its still free. no risk to the client, he can test my service and if he dosnt like it, no risk its free (its called risk reversal, you take the risk instead of the client).

about affiliates, dont you need good affiliates? and why would a good affiliate promote a product he dosnt know if it would sell?
and how dose he promote? if free advertising is so hard, dose he have connections with somone that has a site with a million trafic? (unlikely)
or the mods will delete his posts like they do to all advertisers, they dont care if your an affiliate (the mods do this for fun no one pay them).
in that case the affiliate will need paid advertisement, and he will make part of the sale which will cut your profit maybe more then advertising.

why wouldent that affiliate get the best offer in an affiliate network (clickbank etc) insted, and to be that offer again i will need to pay that affiliate network
before any affiliates even see it.....why wouldnt i just use the money for targeted paid trafic.

thank you for your responses.

No you don't, just time. Of course it's far easier to make money with money.

yes i agree with everything.

also agree with me that in both cases you need to know what to do or else its a waste of effort and\or money.
if you go free, ye it will take time, but you still need to know where to post.
when you get paid ads or promotion again you need to know what your doing or else its a waste.

also maybe your copy is weak so you have 0 conversions.
as it seems even if you offer free stuff.
so you at least need to test the copy also (or pay for copywriter).

Just try other forums/subreddits. The most popular ones are ofc harder. Also.. don't only think in terms of subniche forums. Think about the general audience that would potentially be interested in your video and post in forums where those people hang out.

You can promote your tutorial on FB groups. It worked really well for a client of mine (local coding courses), but they're a local non-profit and the post didn't look scammy/spammy at all. From what I remember, one of the mods actually pinned the post, which gave us 100 or so free sign ups.

You could always contact the mods from whatever FB group, forum, subreddit and ask them for permission first. If you're providing real value and communicate it right, they'll be more than happy to help.
