Is follow 4 follow method useful?

I've been building an Instagram theme page for some time now and was wondering if using a follow 4 follow method to gain more followers is actually a good way to organically grow?
I feel like it may be saturating my followers and causing less engagement to follower ratio, should I just focus more on content and hashtags to gain more engagement?

It's good for initial growth but never a long term thing. Get to a reasonable following and then stop doing it.

I agree with @Project Limitless. It's only good initially. Ultimately, you never want your follower/following ratio to be the same or have more followings than followers. It's a bad look for an Instagram page. There are a bunch of SMM panels here on BHW that can help you with growth. Feel free to check out the marketplace. Otherwise, try utilizing hashtags and optimizing your posts when your followers are most active for the best possible organic outreach.

It still works but most people unfollow such accounts within a week or two
