Backstory: I'm preparing for college and I don't have much free time, I'm using midjourney to create Ai art and I really like doing that in my spare time and it's something I was passionate about before, I'm also a traditional artist, in 2023/24 I had a pinterest account where I was posting Ai art but I was dumb and didn't know how to monetize it.

Current time: Finished highschool and in this time I tried a lot of stuff, even had a viral page, but I decided to just start uploading my AI creations on tiktok, while I haven't really optimized and I'm just testing the waters for now, my slides get like 1k views and hate comments saying how ai ain't real art LOL. So I wanted to ask for advice, my strategy is basically to continue posting and try to make actual tiktoks instead of just slides(tho I'm not really sure what kind of content to make, turning images into videos seems possible), I should probably post on image dominant platforms like X/insta. But to come back to the pinterest page, I know building a pinterest page is just pure consistancy, so I will just post and get back to 1m impressions.

My Goal if these pages gain a following is to make an AI community on skool(I joined a skool community for midjourney which makes about 2k/month, I was dissapointed and believe if this guy is making 2k, then I can do 10k, as his tips and art isn't that good)

Does this sound like a good plan, also I'm looking for advice when it comes to reaching a wider audience, as I can't really sell a product if I have 5 followers.

There is too much competition in my opinion but sounds like a pretty good plan.

Test the waters, as you said, for a few weeks and see how things go.

Sounds like you're on the right track! Turning your AI art into short, visually engaging TikToks with voiceovers or trending audio could really boost reach. Also, posting consistently on Pinterest + Instagram Reels is smart they reward visuals. As for Skool, you're totally right: if others are monetizing mid content, great branding + value could easily set you apart. Keep going consistency and storytelling will win. Have you tried narrating your creative process or showing comparisons between AI and your traditional art?

AI is probably the best thing you could put your time into. Find methods here and super charge them by using AI

I would recommend you to try the same method as early as possible, if it works great if it doen't then leave it asap.

Those who are not using AI are going to left behind. What works in your industry or interest, you need to test things and see what works better according to that.

A lot of people are selling AI related services, or even posting videos on youtube created by AI with thousands or may be millions of views. So keep testing and even ask tools like Chatgpt to create a plan for you explaining everything. And keep sharing your progress for everyone in this group.

who will help us save more time, that is a great invention

Yes, it's worth it, especially since you enjoy AI art. Keep posting on TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram. Try turning your art into short videos with stories or vibes.

Your plan sounds strong, just stay consistent, mix video + image content, and use hate for engagement. Focus on Pinterest, TikTok, and build your Skool once you’ve got 500+ true fans.

Yes, It's important
If you not focus and get information about AI and not upgrade your self, You will become in relvent and not worth in future, Your skills will not be usefull

Hey! You’re at the perfect age for this moment in history. When I was in school, we didn’t even have the internet! And now you’re growing up with AI! It's cool right? )

AI is 100% something to be focusing on now. It’s blowing up in creative realms, and platforms like TikTok and Instagram are starved for fresh, visually arresting content. Your plan to post regularly on those social networks is strong, but here’s how to take it to the next level:

On Tiktok, you might consider transforming your art into brief process videos (e.g., “How I made this AI fantasy landscape in 60 seconds”) or trends such as “before/after AI edits.” Throw in hooks like “Wait for the final result…” to keep viewers hanging on. On Pinterest, make sure you have SEO-friendly titles on your pins and post daily, it’s a slow burn but effective.

Skool communities can be cool, but prioritize delivering unique value first. Potentially start with some free Midjourney tips/prompts, to build trust, then maybe move on to paid tutorials or offers for custom art commissions once you reach 1k followers. But again monetization begins with engagement, not follower size.

Hope this helps and good luck,

I forgot about skool for years! looks pretty good. I deifnatly plan to start a channel there now! lol For the niche I'm interested in. I would suggest that rather than start of on skool, start of on other socials first, and build a web presence for your business long term with a site. That way when you start skool, you'll have already been doing the things you SHOULD also be doing there an more. Develop the habit, then launch with an established process and understanding of what makes good social media and popular content.

When there is heavy competition, people adding unique twists or finding creative ways to move ahead make most profits. You should find out ways to reach more people and diversify your portfolio.

thanks everyone for your advice

You like AI art and you are going to college. So, yeah, AI can help you earn money without taking too much of your time. However, as you have witnessed it yourself, many people are against AI art, saying AI steals from real artists' works. Thus, expect the bumpy ride. Still, I say you should test the waters. The only way to truly find out is to give it a try.

Ai is the leading narrative now, so it is definitely worth it

AI is used to build plenty of new SaaS.
If you have a good idea, you'll get rich.
