Last year FB announced that they would ban pages that uses 'Like Gate' to lock content.
Did it include websites or just pages on facebook.com?

It's been a year and I want to know the update of it.
Are websites being banned if they use the like-content locker on their website after that announcement?

If there is a ban, what type of ban is it?

    Thanks.

This article and the above reply both refer to the pages on facebook.com.

My original question is about the lockers on my own website, which is still unclear.

Do you mean your website or your pages on Facebook.com? Is it due to the like-gate?

Bumping this up as I came across this:

    Code:
    codecanyon.net/item/social-share-locker-pro-wordpress-plugin/8137709
Think this would get the Facebook page banned?
