Im sorry if this is not the right sub forum to drop this question, so if its not i hope the mod will channel to right place.

Is fax messaging (marketing) dead?
When was the last time you send/received a fax message?

I read a guy's pdf where he stated making money using fax messaging...said many biz owners still checks fax messages and value it more than other medium
 
Dan Kennedy speaks that it isn't.

But honestly in terms of mass appeal it is dead.

Only certain companies/individuals use it. That said my gut says theyll have more wealth on average than those who dont.

I have nothing to sell. I enjoy browsing forums and reading stuff for fun. I saw a discussion I felt I could add to and did.

Have a look at the quality of my posts before you make stupid claims. My posts are thought out and not 1 line replies.

If this genuinely isn't a spam account then I apologize for being harsh. But it's a thread from last year - on fax machines. It really doesn't need bumped.

Do you mean that you think companies that use fax machines will have more wealth on average than those who don't? Only just re-read your first post here when you necro'd it - tbh it is pretty fucking odd, maybe I'm reading it wrong. What do you mean by that?
 
Faxes still work in industries that rely heavily on them like Promotional Items and any other business that there main way of collecting orders are faxes
 
Depends on your niche especially the medicine sector use daily fax today..

i do believe there is opportunity, for example i still get faxes at night from different services that spam all business fax, to be hones i read the fax and so far i have contact 2 of the business and they offer me a good discount just because i call them, great deal
 
From my understanding, only a few gov institutions still use faxes, most of them have a fax that requires someone to manually accept the incoming message. Why would I bother to market to such a small and weird market? Businesses use mostly mail and newer apps to function..
 
talking about faxes, dows any one know a way to send faxes from email outside usa and canada? i would like to send some information to international faxes and i was wondering if there a free or a cheap way
 
you can try fax sellers, they prob have one.

OP, you should test and see for yourself, sounds rather inexpensive method of rachout.
Ask yourself what a company that's still running their fax will need lol, probably an update to their company pager/beeper devices :D
