I hope it doesn’t get diminished due to these issues. But if it’s worth it? Yes, for businesses, public figures, or brand, it can boost credibility and visibility

i thought so but it's totally possible to buy it and use impersonation. I feel like facebook is trying to pickpocket more

People mark green ticks a lot to mark the authenticity of the account or fanpage. Admittedly it has many benefits, but it is an opportunity for the bad guys to attack

It's not like that, you hire a green tick in case you are building your personal brand, it creates value for you, then you should use it, otherwise I advise you not to hire

I believe it will cause many problems, as everyone would be able to buy it and be considered a trusted person.
This can cause many problems with double/fake accounts, especially of famous/influencers people...
Maybe it should be more restricting, with some barries to entry, like a minimum of 2/3 months registration on Facebook...

if you get it. Your personal page will really have a different look from the people around. but I have to admit that they are very vulnerable to hackers
