Is Facebook Like Jacking Dangerous?

Hello,

I would like to know if "facebook like jacking" can be dangerous for your site?

Like can you receive any penalties or get banned from facebook and things like that?

Should you use these kind of scripts on your actual business page?

Just because i haven't done like jacking yet doesn't mean I am no SocialMediaPro haha You should see my youtube and twitter traffic. It's just that I don't like facebook that's why.
 
I've done likejacking in the past and it only led to my site being blacklisted on FB.

I mean, this is blackhat so you definitely run the risk of getting your site banned.
 
Yes Facebook is crazy when it comes to stuff like this. I prefer to just not deal with them.
 
I've been running a like jacker for a while now on a moderate traffic site and I'm still good. I think it all really depends on the quality of the like jacker and the settings you choose. That being said, if Facebook realizes your doing it then your probably screwed.
 
It all comes down to the quality of the tool you're using to Like Jack with. Probably seen by some as a shameless plug (however it does also mean I know what I'm talking about and not making guesses) but we released a Like Jacker which is a WP plugin. We built in some extra features that allow the user a great deal of control over how fast the number of Likes it can get.

You must be able to control the speed and total number if Likes you're sending to pages. And that number totally depends on how new your FB page is, how many like it already has and when it got them.

If you play it safe and are sensible with the numbers then you can Like jack very safely.
