I think Facebook along with many large companies are less ethical than
they would like for you to believe. Do they? Not sure...But I do know
Facebook advertising has done nothing for me personally.

They might be doing it, they need to show that they have generated this much in advertising. Their share prices are going down day by day.

    Agreed.

I hope more people see this and check their FB campaigns, if they see similar behaviour themselves.

No question. The results from most FB campaigns, for legitimate companies, do nothing. FB is not able to make the connection from advertiser to consumer whatsoever.

If you are giving something away for free, maybe, but sales or sales inquiries from cars to food, on FB buy is nonexistent.

This is why FB is now "cracking" down on fake accounts and likes on pages will fall on average by 1.5% as fake accounts are deleted. This is a smokescreen to punt the issue to fake users as the cause of their ad failures.

So don't waste your time on advertising on FB unless you are running a contest, giving something away for free, etc. waste of money.

people get ad blind to facebook ads.

facebook was dying a year or more ago, hence why they listed it on the stockmarket

One of the main problems with Facebook advertising is there's no way to target users based on their intentions. For example if someone googles "low rate credit card" it's pretty easy to work out that they're looking for something. Just having age, relationships, gender etc isn't enough if you want to advertise a lot of things.

As someone who advertises on FB & Google, the difference in conversions is ridiculously in favor of google.
