For link building prospecting, I’m curious about the potential of Facebook in both the short and long term.

Can Facebook groups, pages, or communities be a reliable source for finding niche-relevant link opportunities?

Your expert advice would be highly appreciated!

as a seller it is difficult to sell backlinks on Facebook and the opportunities are kinda once in a day and for sellers its like diamonds falling from the sky they all wanna grab it so the competition is high on Facebook for sellers, for buying its best platform
 
Friends, yes, Facebook link building can be very effective in the short and long term for prospecting. Especially by participating in nice relevant groups, pages, and communities. Many relationships are created, from which it is possible to get real links through guest posts, resource pages, or collaborations. Provide value regularly, create conversations - then the opportunity for natural link building increases. Even if you don't get a direct link, there is a possibility of getting featured on a good DA website through relationships. However, the successful strategy is not spamming, but creating organic connections.

FB is solid for prospecting, not for links directly. Groups/pages are gold for finding site owners, editors, and fresh niche sites before they’re spammed.

In the short term it’s manual work, in the long term it’s great for relationship-based links if you play it smart.
 
kinda, but more as a relationship tool than a direct link source. in the short term you can find site owners and bloggers in niche groups, long term it works best if you build trust and connections first, not spam links right away

Those links will not help you for SEO, they are good only for direct traffic.
