Time spent on Facebook might had reduced but the usage is still there. Daily I wish my friends on their birthdays through Facebook..

Yeah people are still using it at most.

It's pay to play. Organic reach has gone to shit.

I use FB everyday, mostly my parents there and classmates.
Facebook Ads is the most cocky arrogant place for media buying (from experience)

The social network itself seems to be dying slowly. Most very young people these days (under 18) either don't have it or don't use it, at least in the West. The company isn't going away anytime soon though because Instagram and Whatsapp are owned by FB, and those platforms are going strong with young and old.

The 'social' aspect is not there anymore, only maybe 10% of my friends are posting there, and its usually just political statements rather than personal stuff. Other than that my feed is filled with ads and videos.

Nowadays, I just use it for business or join groups based on my interests. I don't really check newsfeed anymore.

Pretty sure you can earn through FB groups / running pages =]

It's definitely more catered towards the older audiences now.
