is Ezoic even worth it? I heard a lot of horror stories about it.

I've used it. It did make me more money, as compared to adsense, but they plaster your website with ads, plus they slow down the load time of your website and then offer you a paid monthly service to speed it up (at least that was the case last time I used it). Overall, I switched back to adsense as it was not worth it for me.

It is not entirely worth but not the worst either. If we were to talk about the positives,
Immensely high cpm(rpm) than Adsense.
You have a dedicated manager to take care of the account.
Net 30 payouts (you get paid on 28th of every month)
Now, the only down side I observe is that the website slows down a little. There is a accelerator thing you can use. It requires a CDN integration and this causes a lot of trouble, you might get "Error Communicating with the Origin" error.
At my end atleast the host says it is the problem with Ezoic and Ezoic says the problem is with the host. Awaiting Mediavine approval so that I can stop Ezoic.
Overall, decent than Adsense ( in terms of CPm and Earning)
