And it clearly explains why we need the multiplanetary colonial approach to keep the species away from complete extinction in coming years!

So??? There is still many places to inhabit on Earth. It makes more sense to colonize Sahara desert than to Mars. At least you can actually breath in Sahara. Or Antarctica.

The way we are using, depleting and polluting the resources of this planet, soon this whole planet will push us to extinction one way or another. Then why not look for other planets in the universe to create artificial environment or make them habitable and make the way for humanity to survive? I really don't see any issue here. When there will be no earth as we know today, how Sahara will even exist? Sahara or Antarctica could become ocean by then.

The age of the earth is billions of years and I'm sure there had been 1000s or lot more civilizations like us who flourished and got extinct in the past, not sure if any of them even made their way to keep their species alive somehow. Elon Musk is the key as he is the savior of Homo Sapiens as we know it today, or at least he is trying is best to be the one.
