That's my problem. I add my money sites link to edu blog comments like: http://sites.gsu.edu/mdoctor1/2014/01/16/hello-world/comment-page-38/#comment-22642
I have 15-20 edu blog's like this and add my link to all. So is this useful or harmful for SEO?

In this instance, I would be more concerned about the state of that website than getting a comment link from a .edu. If Google haven't slapped that site, or - at the very least devalued every single link on it - then it's going to be coming imminently. Those .edu subdomain blogs are - at best - alternative Web 2.0s.

.edu are considered to be of high impact for sure. You surely will get benefits from and it and it is useful, but make sure you don't get spammed or blocked your profile from those sites as they will have a big negative impact on our site too.

It's just a waste of time. A backlink from spammy blog is a backlink from spammy blog, it doesn't matter whether it's .edu or .com.

Check the backlink details on the site before commenting. Make sure they are not spammy or else any comment you do will result in negative results.

Blog comments works well..but make sure the blogs which you comment are relevant. If not it doesnt do much good.

yeah blog command is always good for seo
