Hey guys....

Is it fairly safe to say that if I posted the EXACT same really good quality article on like 5 different Web 2.0's that Google wouldn't care - because Google already places a lot of value on these sites??

Just curious and learning! :)

Thanks!

No G will devalue the worth of the backlinks because it reconizes the duplicate content. My advise is the spin it or just write unique content ;)

Cheers

spin for the win. download spin chimp or spinner chief, use their auto-spin feature. they're only web2.0s ... just keep the high quality articles to your own site.

Duplicate content for the sake of ranking is not safe anywhere.

It will give alot of low value to site . If you want rankings then content must be unique and well written .

Google only wants high quality original content in its index. They don't want their visitor clicking on multiple search results and finding the same thing. It devalues their worth in the searchers eyes. There is always going to be tons of duplication on news sites from news feeds, AP, Reuters etc... but it tends to be on larger authority sites like Yahoo. Unless you're at that level I'd avoid any duplicate content....anywhere including on your own site.

I always prefer to write 1 article unique and spin it and submit to 20-30 web 2s

What if I got a 100% unique article then post them to different web 2.0's, is it safe?

Write a good article, put the written article on your site, spin it and put the spun versions on other sites.

It's like having sex with no condom, I wouldn't risk it.

Unless it's anal ofc.

Try it on your competitor's site. If you see (+)ve result then use it on your site as well. If it just f**ked his website, just feel LUCKY !! :p

I think you have posted 3 new threads in like ten minutes haha. Anyways, I have spun garbage web 2.Os ranking on the 3rd -5 pages of a competitive 8,000 search keywords from senukex blasts. :)

Hey thanks Dan.. yeah I'm on a mission here.. Could you PM me I wanna ask you something!! I can't PM yet.. :(

re-writing is always the safe option bro.. always keep yourself on the safe side.

If you wanna rank your articles, then go for unique. If you wanna rank your website by placing links in the articles through web 2.0 sites, then its not a biggy.

I would listen to this guy ^^^^

If going for "backlinks" then you really don't need to worry about it all that much.

You may have a harder time indexing those Web 2.0's with duplicate content, but if you send enough link juice towards it, it should index regardless.

Now, if you are going for rankings. Like BB said, you need to get some unique content. Most people overlook the power of ranking Web 2.0's for lower searched keywords.

Part of my strategy when ranking "low - medium" keywords is to dominate the first page with as many sites as possible. I have a few keywords that I own 7/10 of the first page listings by having different sites, Web 2.0's, etc.

That assures that I get just about all the traffic from those terms.

You should write a completely unique article for your money site. Then write or "borrow" an article for spinning for your web 2.0 sites.

I wrote an article, and used it on my money site + on 2.0's
Now my original article didn't got indexed right away, only after two days.
so now the question is: is it seems to Google like I copied the article?
I had a SERP drop too... maybe it's better to remove that article from the money site?
