Is dropshipping ethical?

Hi,

So, I'm starting a dropshipping business, I'm buying from a popular marketplace in my country and selling it on a local classified.

The product reach me within 1-2 days, and i reship it to my customer and reach them, totally within 3-4 days customer gets the product.

My question is, is this ethical thing to do? Because I add about $7 + 30% of the price. So, customer could have got it for cheaper if they research abit.

I know many people in my country are doing dropshipping, but sometimes it feels like I'm doing something that my customer don't know and that's what makes me feel like I'm hiding something from my customer. What do you think? Is this unethical or is this how a business runs.

Also, is what I'm doing even called dropshipping? Or is it something else? Because I thought dropshipping is suppose to order from a supplier, but I'm ordering from retailer.

Ethical, if it were unetichal or illegal fast fashion brands would sell shirts for 1$-5$ instead of 30$

You are not doing anything wrong. Buying for low and reselling high is straight business.

I don't think what you're doing is drop shipping. It doesn't have much to do with ethics, you're not scamming anyone. You're putting in the time and work so that the particular product you're selling is available and visible to a customer who otherwise may not have been aware of the product. You have probably the simplest business model hundreds of millions of people use.

isn't what retail shop , even supermarket is doing

not just buy from supplier, somethings also from other retails which maybe they have spare stocks etc

Is illegal if you trying to sell " fake branded goods Than you claim is Real " that is obviously is Scam , cheat others

Most of real states make dropshipping. Specially little shops in the hoods.
Everytime I go to a shop when I see the prices I know they doing dropshipping (importing from China)

in fact a lot import from China due to labour cost is cheap there. Isn't Apple also been made from there but they stated design in USA.
my country here a lot retail the stuffs also from china just that they ask the supplier put their shop name.

I don't know much on dropship have to shout out at Dave , his service is good till now help me , answer my question on dropshipping here till I kinda know roughly how dropshipping works.

any physical store also includes the profit in the supplier's price to make money, why would dropshipping be unethical for doing that?

Depends on who you are asking. some people say yey some ney. The fact is that it does not matter.
When companies like Nike make you think that their tshirt worth $40 when in fact they pay the factory $1 , is this ethical?

Also, store owners who buy cheap, and sell for 50% profit, is this ethical?

Man, that is 100% legal!
Some people just don't understand that dropshipping is not a business model. Dropshipping it's just a logistic strategy.

Nothing wrong with that. That's all people and brands, and businesses and retailers, shops, and whatever way you can call it do make to have profit.

They buy cheaper and sell with a margin. That's just business.

Also, I am doing dropshipping too.

as many businesses it has a good part (earnings) and a wrong part (increasing the price) it depends of you, in my personal opinion I think it's legal unless you never send the product. we buy a lot of products with "non real" price in supermarkets or similars.

If mere reselling something was considered unethical, all merchants would land in prison. That's how business works. Just make sure that products you attempt to sell aren't illegal.

It's totally ethical and moral. Why? Because it's their choice to buy from you, without doing any research. Also you are providing certain service and they are paying for that service through the price of the product you are selling. Nothing unethical. You could put some disclaimer on your website, if that's going to put your mind at ease.
