Is dropshiping this simple?

List your items on ebay, buyer pays you, pay the money to the drop shipper, and he ships the next day. No investment from your site. Can this be this simple?

Actually, no. If he pays to the dropshipper, then what do you get

The customer pays you, and you are also responsible for the goods to be received. Also, you have to have some kind of a seller's account for the buyer to pay you, you can't do it with paypal, lol. You should really dig into it, it's not that simple.

well, i get paid by the buyer into my paypal right? Or does ebay have an escrow thing?

I have to say for the most part Yea. You need to make sure the item is available most of the time. If you are drop shipping custom items this can become an issue. If they have the items in stock you could be golden.

No need to be an a$$. I think he's trying to help you. You asked if dropshipping was easy. He said yes, for the most part. Unless you are trying to dropshipping custom items, then it can get a little tricky. Dropshipping can be easy. Sell an item, get paid, pay the dropshipper, sell another item. Finding a good dropshipper that sells good items at a price that will allow you to make a profit can be hard. Most dropshippers are really just middle men.

IMHO any dropshipper that doesn't ask for your business information, or wants you to pay to join their program isn't worth it. If dropshipping was really this easy, everybody would be doing it.
