Is Donor Status worth it?

Hello Blackhatters,

I was wondering if donor status is worth it. What will I get in return? Can you post some examples of the benefits I get for being a Donor? I really want to be one, but I'm not sure about it yet.

But I mean, do I get like a secret area on the site with unknown methods or something? Or is it just what you said?

just that what i said. JR Vip have a separate section and they get a blue name.

what's the separate section all about though?

Your account is old enough and you have enough posts to be a Jr. VIP for the same money.

You get access to a couple more forums hidden to regular members. There is some good information in there.

If you enjoy private blog networks, there is a large one that is available only to Jr. VIPs that you will receive access to.

If you ever want to sell something on BHW, getting donor or Jr. VIP status is required.

You can have a signature with a link that leads to an affiliate program or your own buy/sell thread to potentially make all your money back that you paid.

That's about all I can think of at the moment for tangible benefits. Oh yeah, there's a special button in the Jr. VIP area, you push it and money pops out of your computer screen.

Having the ability to advertise in your signature has tremendous potentials! Apart from that, this is an amazing forum and deserves something back!

I guess you would look more trust worthy to other member.

They moved the CS and ewhoring section in JR VIP section some time ago, so if you are interested go for it, also they share new things up there

Think you mean CL (craigslist). There is no ewhoring section, ewhoring is against the rules of BHW now and not allowed for discussion.

Man why do these questions keep popping up when there's already a sticky thread explaining it for anyone that searches for it.

First just to clear things up...
Both the pink Premium Member level and the blue Jr.VIP level are both Donor memberships.

As nickk already pointed out, you should go read the sticky thread: All about BHW Membership levels



Premium membership is available to new members and members with low post counts. With a Premium membership you get the ability to use links and images in your signature (for advertising), inbox capacity increased to over 500 PM, and a Donor icon next to your username

Jr.VIP membership is available after 60 days of membership and 100 counted posts. With a Jr.VIP membership you get everything the Premium members get, plus you get access to the hidden Jr.VIP forum.

So, if you want to use your signature for marketing on the forum, and don't want to wait till you meet the requirements of Jr.VIP then the Premium membership is a good option. Once you meet the 60 days/100 posts requirements for Jr,VIP (or you plan to meet them soon) then it really makes more sense to donate for Jr.VIP.

To answer the question in your thread title, "Is Donor Status worth it?", it jsut depends. If you donate to become a Premium member then it's really only worth it if you plan to market to other members here and don't expect to meet the Jr.VIP requirements any time soon. If you already do meet the Jr.VIP requirements then it's definitely worth donating if you want access to the hidden Jr.VIP forum.

If what your actually wondering is if the Jr.VIP forum itself is worth it... Well that depends on whether you're already getting benefit from the general forums.

If you don't already find benefit from the information in the general forums then don't expect to find any magic push-button methods in the hidden forum. On the other hand if you already understand and get benefit from the general forums then you'll probably be more than happy with the additional information available to you as a Jr.VIP.
