Launched a website november 2018.

Perfectly optimized on-page SEO
- Pagespeed and Yslow 98-100 in homepage and every other page
- Loading time less than 1S
- 20 Requests per page (my opponents: 50-100!)
- Content updated every single day
- Nice backlinks diversity (pdf submissions, guest posts, forum linking same niche, links from authority websites with mixed do-follow no-follow, great anchor text diversity and a lot of naked url)
- Bounce rate 10%
- 8-10 page views / user
- 3 Minutes medium time spent on site

Organic traffic increased from first to 5th month and actually i have something like 10.000k daily visits. But this number is the same in last 4 months. I cant increase that number.

The keyword is medium difficulty (average DA is 20-25) but traffic is high (2M organic per month - non english). No one of my opponents has better (or at least near) numbers compared to mine (i beat them in backlinks quality, backlinks quantity and on page seo - Source Ahrefs)

So whats the reason i dont beat them? Was 2nd for the main keyword for a month, then dropped in 3rd page and cant recover the serp position... The only difference is that all 10 results in first page are domain 3-5-10 years old!

Yes site age is often a factor, even though some people will argue there is no "sandbox effect". As google has been trusting these sites for a long time, you must prove to google your site is better than them, so google can rank you higher than them. It is not enough to be as good, you have to be better. Also we do not know how good your content and your links are compared to these other sites.

Would you be able to share how you were able to get a load time under 1s and so few requests? That sounds incredible!

How did you achieve 10% bounce rate.... that’s awesome man!

Domain age is certainly a ranking factor - The most important one....I wouldn't say. SEO is a holistic disciplin.

Domain age, links + diversed and semantic content is my cup of tea.

Im using wordpress and a premium theme with about 50 request. Added those plugins: autooptimize + jhcoptimize + wpsupercache + rocketloader ON on cloudflare. From 50 request and 4 seconds loading now i have 1S and about 20 requests

:suspicious: Really? 10% BR? 8 to 10 pages per visit? Is this Mark Zuckerberg?

Sorry, my mistake. Less then 10 after a properly optimization. According alexa, 10 od top 10 in main keyword have Bounce from 35 to 50% :) (last 3 days analytics)

I believe your website is in Italian language. Domain age can't be a less important factor than what you already mentioned.

Relevance to where you're pointing your domain is the most important when it comes down to SEO (PBN usage) Age and links help, but you can have crap DA but very relevant URL name and that will take the cake every time.

Google can and does position nicely new "viral" sites that get mentioned on big outlets, so the ultimate ranking factor is... you guessed it: backlinks, strong backlinks.

I am starting to think domain age & EMD (exact match domain) are two of the strongest ranking signals in SEO. Especially in certain SERPS depending on the query, search volume and country. Backlinks are way less important in these cases

There is a site that ranks number 1 for a variety of real estate terms in a large developing country (e.g LOCATION + real estate). 10 year old site. EMD.

Only 90 backlinks (Mostly junk ones). Roughly 20 referring domains. DA of 15. No SEO optimization. Google page speed mobile score of 0 (literally) and 23 for desktop. No social media activity.

It ranks above sites with 500+ referring domains (properly branded sites).

I think you should work on creating a brand out of main keyword. From good site.

age matters but its hard to say how

registration date - not likely cause u could just register domain from year 2000 and outrank everyone

See what your top 3 competition does, and do the same, just better.

Nice suggestion, thanks.

But how you should do that without loose traffic from the main keywords?

Create brand in social networking site using your keyword post something daily on it., Buy PBN link or create your own from same country, Web2.0, Contextual Links, .Gov .Edu links. These all will create brand out to your site. See main game is Google need to trust your site more.
