Is day trading crypto really worth the effort?

I´m studying technical analysis for about two weeks now and I´ve already learn many things, but I see that most people on forums like this one, Reddit, etc, picture Day trading (crypto, stocks, options, etc) as a "gamble".

Is that true? Am I wasting my time?

If you are ready to wait minimum 5 years before seeing some kind of consistency in your day trading, not really, but if not... then it's not so worth it..

Start practicing with a demo day trading account and see how you fair before using real coins.

Pump and dump made technical analysis little bit irrelevant these days

If you don't understand what you are doing. Why you choose to buy or sell that spesific coin, what your plan, when you will take position or start taking profit, cut your losses.( who, when, why, where, how) . Than yes you are gambling.

Gambling is basicly doing things that you don't understand at all. Like most people that just start im and doing media buying, it's also gambling. Basicly never invest your money only because it's the trend, I see someone profitable, fear of missing out. This is gambling.

you are right.. It is risky as any gambling out there.. what matters is you gamble only what you can afford. It is really volatile and no one can predict when it is going up or down. But remember, you win some you lose some in this kind of venture.

I dont think its a gamble if you can put in the time and effort over the long term
