I suspect that BTC may be launching further supply halving events created solely to manipulate the price of BTC, and wallet addresses may be able to decrypt them.

Bitcoin halvings are not discretionary events and not triggerable by any entity.

Nothing in Bitcoin allows extra supply changes or hidden switches. Every coin, block reward and rule is auditable by anyone running a node. If something like that existed, it would be immediately visible and the network would reject it.

the reward reduction is hard coded in the protocol and happens every about 200k blocks in a fully public and predictable way, wallets cannot decrypt or control supply in any form they only sign transactions

Crypto safe in terms of what ? In terms of safety ? In terms of price ?
Safety of your crypro is in your hands as long as you store crypto in a decentralized wallet, no matter how the prices jump up or down.
"Safety" in terms of prices ? It has never been nor will it ever be. All crypto prices, including Bitcoin, are always manipulated. Traders who play effectively well within this manipulatation, do make profits.
Bitcoin is on the way to US$44000, ofcourse there will be fakeout pumps on the way to US$44000.
