Is creating a niche affiliate website from scratch worthwhile?

Hi,
I plan to move to another passive income stream, And I think that niche websites are cool but competition is on the roof. So if you have any suggestion it's always welcomed.

It is, as long you focus on it. and make sure the niche is right for you. mean you won't get bored and you are capable to rank it.
 
Depends on your budget and timescale.

Got the money, buy an existing one, ranking and earning.

Otherwise buy an expired domain and go from there.

Not being a native English speaker and unaware of their culture is the real problem. it's hard to write good articles and buying articles is risky.
 
You speak in general about a very subjective matter.

the whole point of targeting a niche, is that the competition is not fierce, and if it is, than its already a market, not a niche.

My suggestion is try to rank a killer mono product, where all content is around that product.

Makes you an expert in the eyes of your customers, which can compensate for dropshipping downsides.

The niche should be number 1 priority. If the competition is high forget about this niche. And Buying an existing site is a good option too

Buying articles isn't risky, just don't go for the cheapest writers.

Think about these types of sites as investments.

Get them earning good money and flip them from 25x earnings and more.

I got the same problem. what i do right now is read a lot good article, and then i find poor written one, than try to rewrite it. Still working on these though.
other consideration is buying articles,but it is very expensive.

As I explained, Culture makes it hard for non native to compete wit talented writers

Here comes the problem, You're investing money (lots of money) and waiting for profit then after one google update your website gets out of competition and everything is gone. I think that investing in buying an existing website is a better option

Be careful also when u buy an established website so u don't get scammed

if you know what you're buying into that's defiantly a choice.
 
I started my latest affiliate site around a year ago without knowing anything about starting sites or SEO at all at that time, and following just a few different online guides, my traffic has been increasing steadily, and I will have my first 1k profit month in a few days.

This is in a fairly crowded niche that I hardly knew anything about before, but was curious about.
