Is Craiglist Traffic Driving Dead?

So, I have taken a very long break from IM to concentrate on college. In that down time, I formulated a few ways to jump back in the game and hit it hard. But, I'm not sure if Craigslist is still a great method for free traffic because I know the PVA issue was pretty bad when I stopped IM. Is it still a viable way to drive lots of traffic? And I'm not asking to be spoonfed. If you look at my contributions, you'll see that I am more than capable of developing innovative methods. I'm just not sure about the free traffic scene anymore.
