Is CPA good for a beginner?

Hey guys,

I've been trying to make money with print on demand, Instagram, email/affiliate marketing and dropshipping so far... Mainly Instagram and Email Marketing because I dropped the others pretty fast. And I've only made $40 so far (Started my journey about making money online in may 2020 and still grinding every day)

I've just seen a video about CPA and he talks about picking an offer which is a Paypal 1000$ card giveaway and then he gets traffic from niche websites which charge like $0.10 per 1k Impressions or $40 for a month ( 2 examples). Now, is it realistic that 0,1% of people will opt-in to the CPA offer? If it really works so easily ($1000 profit with just $40 spent), then why doesn't everyone do it? Is it bullshit? With just 0,1% you would have insane ROI if I go by what he said.

I was always not attracted to CPA since it is so shady and I despise it every time when I come across one CPA offer myself, but this really sparked my interest. Is CPA actually great for beginners like me to build a budget for bigger things (or just scale it)?

Don't know about your skills but I would not say that CPA is easy and great for beginners.
Does this guy basically buy some ad space like banners or something like that on niche websites? Sounds like a method from 2010 :D


For me, it sounds like a bs, most of these YouTubers about money making online, are just trying to hook you up and keep you as long as possible to watch video so he can get his ad revenue from youtube, and that's the way they are making money :-)
 
Never did it personally, but I assume it must be hard and complicated to drive so much traffic.
I got one work proposal like this, but idk... Need some instructions.
 
It's not easy but it is solid for beginners simply because while working on CPA on that whole process you learn about lots of other great things you'll need on your IM journey, and, learning and implementing does things, today if you don't do that, you ain't gonna get nowhere.
If, I am rookie with no money, one of the option would 100% be CPA.
 
The video which you saw is bullshit, every guru is selling the same shit, easy method and you only need to buy traffic
Traffic is the biggest problem, ranking on google and monetizing it with CPA is extremely difficult
Promoting it with ads is possible but you can not simply promote the 1k gift card giveaway cuz nobody will ever complete the offer
Buying traffic from some random site or fiverr is just a waste of time as they are all selling bot traffic
 
Yes it is, but what you saw is not very realistic. If it were that easy, everyone would do it.
 
CPA is not good for beginners, especially if the beginners live in non-tier 1 countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and maybe some top tier EU countries).

Now, I'll admit that the last time I tried CPA has been over 6 years ago (maybe more), but even at that time most CPA networks that I joined have been very restrictive with whom they allowed to promote their products. Most of them have wanted me to either live in USA / Canada, have an established site of my own (by established I mean few years old site in profitable niche and with 1000s of visitors / month traffic coming 90% from tier 1 countries), then they have wanted me to tell them in detail how I will promote their offer, in one case a network (I don't remember their name, so don't ask) had wanted me to pay them $35 guarantee upfront just to be allowed to join them, which at that time I did cause I didn't know how this CPA bullshit works.

Anyway, the point is that unless you are God himself to properly please the scumbags that own these networks I would stay away from CPA altogether. The requirements to promote CPA products from some of the networks are really impossible for non-tier 1 citizens. And for newbies are even worse since they don't usually have a website, much less a profitable one, and don't usually know how to catch the poor fish in the net of CPA

well sounds like you have been scammed for paying a guarantee lol, most networks do not care about where you are from, most of the industry is dominated by scams, teh offers are scams, and how people promote them are scams. On the otehr hand there is big money to be made with CPA if you know what you are doing, and by big money I mean in one year you can make mroe than in your entire lfietime
 
Yeah, I have probably been scammed but it's been enough for me to stay away from CPA forever. Also, the "if you know what you are doing " argument is pretty useless since we are talking about beginners here, and beginners never know what they are doing since... well, they are beginners. And if I knew how to make money with CPA I would definitely know how to make money with SEO / affiliate marketing in general since CPA offers are usually affiliate products / services.

But anyway, I got your point. I just don't agree with it :)
 
Nothing is easy without paid traffic. It's very hard to get traffic for CPA, POD, DS, Affiliate without paid traffic nowadays because of so much competition.

So would you say $0,10 for 1k impressions is good if you put a CPA offer on a website that's very related (niche)?
