Is CPA/CPI still profitable as 5 years ago?

Hi,
Around 5 years ago I was averaging $100 - $200 daily from just CPA.

Due to a combination of personal reasons and Google penalising my sites I stopped completely and lost motivation.

Is CPA still decent?
I was looking at Amazon Affiliate but I think they reduced earnings and there's a chance they could close the program at any time

I think that CPA now work much better with Paid ads.

Yeah its still very much profitable. You just need to retest everything with all that has changed over the past few years.

Not as easy as before, but still quite profitable - just like everything in IM.

Yes, you can still make it, it is harder but, as usual with everything...

Free methods = You can do it but it's gonna take some time

Paid Ads = It all depends on your knowledge, results can be pretty damn good.

Thanks all

I've never before user paid ads.
I basically started wordpress sites then used social media for traffic (FB groups or YouTube)

I am gonna research and read through a lot of threads on here and start planning something
