I want to know is it really matter for WordPress SEO to get shared Webhosting within a country, I mean if I am targeting Indian user then I should go with Indian or other Asian servers or shall I go with the US, UK, EU servers?

Site speed is a ranking factor nowadays so I think it matters. If your target audiance are Indians then you should get an Indian based server to host your site cause it'll be much faster to Indians users than US/EU based server.

For your visitors sake, go with a server nearest where your visitors are, no one loves a slow website, for Google, they care a very tiny bit to, but do it for your visitors.

i think its matter hosting locations because i make website and host in uk based hosting company my website most keywords rank in UK based so i think locations matters in website

Only few hosting sites are available in Indian server, if I use Indian CDN server, does it work?

yes it does. I have seen sites load in like 50-100ms when hosted in same country as the visitor. It's crazy. Ofcourse go with something like AWS or Digital ocean or some wordpress optimized hosting provider in your country (or some global provider which has servers in your country).

As people before me mentioned, you should definitely choose a web hosting service closest to your Users. It makes incredible differences in speed and with that also in Search ranking.

When your hosting is within the country that you are targeting, you'd noticed that the page load speeds are superior - the page loads so fast, that it's almost instant. With page speeds being one of the metrics in the algorithm, it should contribute positively in your SERP ranking in the process - google has even added this feature on their GSC, so it gotto be a big metrics in the near future.

If your targeted audience is mainly in the U.S. and the web host you are with has data center only in Asia that means the data need to travel halfway around the world to reach your visitors.
Therefore try to host your website closer to your targeted audience. You can also make use of CDN to help cache your website data on various servers around the world. This can help to increase the speed.

@myfault

Yes, it matters, especially if you're using a country-specific domain. It will give you an edge among other sites from different countries as it can help win a group of audience, and it can help your website rank up. Also, country-specific domains tend to load faster, which is a factor as well in ranking.

Yes, it is important because of site speed.

Location specific server for target audience will agree because of website load speed is best and also helps in search ranking
