Is country important for Reels

Let's say I want to target USA with my Reels, is it important that my IG is logged on 4G Mobile USA proxy for that or not? I know for TikTok it is, but I heard it doesn't matter for Reels, true or false? Please answer if you tried, don't come with ChatGPT answers I beg you!

It's 50/50. There's nowhere any rule that says this, but the algo tends to promote content within the area where the IP was

It also depends on what type of content you post, if you post content that attracts US Audience then no matter what your IP is, you will get US Audience. I manage 15 Theme Pages with millions of followers in each from India, and they have 40-50% US Audience in total.

Reels promote the local content maybe based on the IP, I have seen this a lot with my location

It would be best to use 4G Mobile USA proxies. That's because reels are promoted to the local community based on the IP of the account.

It matters to use proxy for posting reel on interest locations,reels are spread according to the posted ip/proxy location.
