I know Cloudflare can speed up a website for free. But is the cloudflare bad for SEO?

It's safe for SEO unless you link all websites in your PBN to a single cloudflare account

Why would it be bad for SEO?
It is a free way to hide real IP. For bad hosting a domain could be listed as spam(No SEO Effect right?). I was just wondering if it has any bad effects.

So To clear my mind, it is 100% safe to ask in BHH.

I was wondering this question myself the other day...many sites that run on cloudfare have an extra 2/3 seconds loading time (i am on fibre) whilst it does a DDoS check. Does that not impact site performance in terms of initial loading?

I think it only runs that check if the IP you are on is in a "bad" cluster or if it's at peak time - I could be wrong but that's what I thought that was about..

Id imagine things like google, bing etc all have the IPs saved and are updated to be kept on a "safe" list so for them speed checking you there is no DDoS Check..

Early on it was bad for SEO because there were few sites there and lots of banned sites made it a bad neighborhood.

Then it grew too much and Google could no longer tell good from bad sites out of their IP so now it's safe.

Thank you guys for replying with valuable information!
