Today I got a refund from a sale that was made 150 days earlier. It was okinawa flat belly tonic which have a maxium return period of 90 days. How could this happen ?
Does anyone have any clue regarding this ? Its quite dissappointing.

Almost all affiliate marketing networks (using various reasons, actually excuses, for time to time) do and will keep on doing some "shaving" off from affiliate marketeer's earnings. This is a reality and the only solution to this is to allot some of your profits made into a "shaving off" bucket.
I allot 12% based on my experience, so around 12% of my affiliate earnings get shaved off and it does not affect my expected calculations, as I always allot 12% in my accounting, to be shaved of by the affiliate marketing networks that I use. But, ofcourse this does not mean that each time some earning is shaved off, you must not contact them for a clarification and possibily a return of the earnings back to you. In a few of the cases so far where earnings "shaving" happened, they investigatedand I got back what was deducted.

I don't think if anyone would remember the product they bought 5 months ago to seek a refund. Probably, the seller might've delayed refund for some reason. There is no other explanation for this except the foul play of Clickbank.

Probably delayed refund, I also had a refund after like 70 days, 2 years ago, but I don't think Clickbank shaves. It has been around for 20+ years, also I don't know a product that offers 90 days money back guarantee, I think on 90% of the products, it is 60 days, very rarely, I have seen 30 days for example.

Another way to avoid shaving, at least at the affiliate network level, is to work out a deal directly with the offer owner. If you can pull enough volume, he'll be willing to modify his site to accommodate your tracking requirements. Might even increase your margins.

I don't think Clickbank shaves, everything is automated, as well as legally audited for best practices. It might be someone claiming it through their credit card, and just saying they've been scammed. That's probably enough to get you unlimited days return, lol.
