Im launching my first product in a couple of days and im wondering is clickbank alone anough to get me some affiliates or its a must to post in forums and try to get affiliates from there too?

I'm not a vendor myself but I'd say doing some independent promotion would be a good idea. Lots of people complain that CB are slow to list products in the marketplace, and since from memory the default sorting is by gravity (and your new product would initially have low gravity) then you wouldn't be getting many eyeballs on the product.

No it's not.
Consider yourself at page 50 in Google for your major search term.

I am about to start on CB and I was wondering the same question, I think I contact lot's of blogs with SB? would this be a good idea?

I think clickbank is enough. If you want to bring in more affiliates elsewhere, you might need to increase the commission for them

If its a hot new product then yes do a pre-launch here for affiliates to sign up and start promoting the product straight away. This way you are able to gather early momentum for your product.

Not really you will have 2-3 clicks a month from the marketplace and thats all :(

You need to promote your product and make sales on your own first as to increase the gravity.

You can also steal your competitors affiliates using my method here:

You need to get a little movement on your own initially before people will start to notice you in the CB marketplace. Once your gravity starts climbing, others will jump on board... in fact, landing a single solid placement can be enough to get the ball rolling, since a lot of IM folks subscribe to each other's lists. If you get someone to mail for you, that could give you the initial gravity bump needed to benefit from the CB marketplace.

Try to get affiliates to sign up here on BHW, on DP (Never been there, but I know there are some (noobish) IMers) and WF (just like DP).

No. CB affiliates are something that add up over time as you experience success. In my experience, affiliates from the marketplace are just icing on the cake which add up over time if you play your cards right. Most of the big guys are already successful before affiliates make them even more money.
