Is Click / Installs rate important with incentive offers

    Hello everybody,

    I'm planing to promote incentive mobile CPA offers (app install, watch video) by rewarding users with: gift voucher, coupon, amazon gift card or even cash...

    I saw that most of mobile CPA networks track: Clicks, Installs (leads), CTR, eCPC..

    My question: Is Clicks / Installs rate important with incentive offers. Because most of users with just click on offers they selected without clicking on other offers, so Clicks count and Installs count may be same

    What generates your commissions? The clicks or the installs?

    It can be important. If you see that the average App has an 34% conversion rate and app X has an 4% conversion rate. Block app X.
    There could be many causes like these:
    - The App Takes Too Long To Install (File Too Big)
    - The Advertiser Is Shaving (cheating)

    It's handy to see because I suddenly saw an decrease of conversion rates and the cause was that everyone was clicking an specific app where the advertiser was shaving. So my conversion rate was 0%.

    What I am worried is: If Clicks/Installs rate is same, whether cpa networks mark my app as fraud and block my account or deduct the revenue :|

    Not all the clicks will result in successful install and hence clicks and install rate are different and they both are important.
