some client now expect designers to deliver things quickly because they can make basic designs themselves has canva changed how client value professional design?

Canva has made basic design faster, but clients still need professionals for branding, layout and consistency across different platforms. Showing how your design improves their brand or conversions helps explain the value beyond just making something look good.

Yes, Canva has changed the expectations of clients to a great extent. Due to Canva’s easy templates, clients now want designs very quickly, but Canva is only for general and basic designs, so they expect work from designers as well. Everyone can create basic designs on Canva, but the value of a professional designer who works on branding, color theory, typography, and unique ideas still exists. Canva has made general design affordable. Canva is a tool, but the experience and creative thinking of a designer are still very important, while even today, only a professional designer is required for work.

It is possible if client knows the basic graphic designing and also you know canva facilitates the people with the ready made templates that's why the people who know the basic thing can design their common and normal designs by themselves. There is one more thing that this is an era of Ai so some people use Ai for their daily designing tasks. But the when it comes to the branding and some specific designs a professional person always hire a graphic designer for this. This is truth that canva is free and easy to operate but it is not enough for high level branding and creativity. So in some cases its possible or impossible also.

Canva has made basic design more accessible, but professional designers bring strategy, consistency, and a deeper understanding of branding. It may raise expectations for speed, but strong design is still about solving problems, not just making something look good.

I think Canva has shifted the conversation from making designs to explaining their value. Designers who can connect visuals to business goals and audience needs have a stronger case than those competing on speed alone.
