I basically want to expand my personal brand organically through Youtube.

Is Brian Dean's First Page Videos course any good?

If not, could you please recommend a good course on Youtube (Seo, Filming and stuff) I can buy?

I can vouch for Adam Payne from VMI hands down one of the honest dudes you will ever come across in the IM field!

He is mainly into video marketing
 
No idea, never watched his videos, but I guess its legit since he is one of the famous and valuable names.

He isnt into video stuff though mark my words you need Adam Payne from VMI
 
They are all marketers, like us. In exchange of being the good samaritean of the IM they build a community. In that community maybe some medium to big companies hire his team. They pay the writers big money for that guides.

You can read and if you think it's valuable apply in your projects.

Look at income school as example, they target the newbies only.

On the end, nobody knows the magic formula.

I like @MatthewWoodward because he does real case studies (the hosting one was gold)

@Meddie I also like Mathew a lot, I have open threads for a couple of his case studies and I was bashed here by many stating most of his case studies are biased because he´s an affiliate marketer.

Yes he's a pro at video marketing top notch and one of the honest video guys out there
 
He's very White Hat but unlike others he always backs his claims with some data rather than making vague statements following what some dude on Search Engine Journal said...

I'd say if you're starting out definitely plough through his videos and articles (subscribe to his newsletter)
 
I think he's legit for the most part. Some of the things he says needs to be fact checked. For example, he has a video on how to grow your Youtube channel. I've implemented everything he said and have seen marginal increase in my channel. One thing he said to do is use tags but Youtube clearly states that tags do not make any difference in search visibility. Using " [keyword] site:Youtube.*" to scout out competition before making a video is making a difference in my channel, though.
 
He is legit but what I like to do when I want to learn something specific is learning from the guy who is only teaching that specific niche rather than doing general SEO.
 
Brian knows his stuff, read a few of his guides MOST of the time there is nothing new but every so often there is a little nugget or hint outlined in the documents I don't follow his blog much still get his emails BUT I do like his end of year write ups or his thoughts on upcoming trends.

Its like anything else though information is there all depends how you apply it..
 
They are marketers, but that doesn't mean they can't have a great product.

I've heard positive things about Brian from guys I trust and have made a lot of money online.
 
I rank my first blog just by doing what he was saying in his blog.
For me, it's one of the legit ones out there.
