Is Breadcrumb a factor of on-page seo optimization?

If I were you, king of warnings, I wouldn't run around the forum calling everyone a noob if he disagrees with your opinions, which are what they are, opinions at the very best. Nobody is writing you hamrful comments, just your pride (wherever you have it from) apparently suffers when people disagree with you. It's not us calling you a noob. What we think however, is a bit different matter.

I honestly believe you are unable to understand what other people are trying to tell you. You understand it how you want and then reply about something else completely. That URL I sent you there is a crawler/spider replicator. There are dozens online and you can try any that you would like, they will all see your breadcrumbs, just like Google does see them. Every little letter of content included at the page is a part of it and taken into account when calculating keyword density, unless it's noindex. Period. Google may perceive breadcrumbs differently, but I am not aware of that and they also have no way to know considering breadcrumbs do not have any specific bredcrumbs tags.

whatever you said, no Its not for pride. I just tried to explain a lot earlier even. If you had read earlier posts there would be no need of that conservation first of all.

and also I am not the king of warnings LOL
I got warnings only because of conservations with you earlier only. While I never had these aggressive conversations with others.
Whatever it is the conversation is ended here....
and
also the last line
I hope I got what you are trying to explain
there is no tags for breadcrumbs. Only schema tags that one #itemprop:---- whatever it is enough.

Result of this thread in a simplified way# (simple language)
Basically when you will saw a keyword in content in a code there would be no tags simplifying google as to took it into calculating KD.

while the keyword in breadcrumb is simply attached to schema list stating google that it is a part of navigation and should not be considered as a part of KD

ALso Why KD is preferred by google
Because they want relevant content. They want to see the appearances in the content so that they could be able to identify with bots easily.

Some of the big sites get most of their top positions due to having strategical breadcrumbs. Tho you need to be an SEO expert to know how to do it.

Yup, it counts as a downside and over-optimization. Just do yourself a favor and either remove them, or remove the <a> tag from them, and it will be counted in the keyword density calculations.

I can assure everyone, that breadcrumbs are counted within the keyword density. If you know how algorithm works, then maybe you could let us know the entire Google algorithm. Make the life easier for us you know. :)

Still, just paste your URL here to this spider replicator - http://smallseotools.com/spider-simulator/ and I can very well see your breadcrumbs being there. Don't look really excluded to me. Unless you use specific piece of code to hide it from Google, then it will very well see them. They are counted within the content. I even saw some themes which had breadcrumbs as H3 tags even, so that's even more terrible.

Of course it does, everyone again is using their own logic instead of actually trying! Always glad to see a voice of reason every now and then.

From what you and khero have said AND when you check the top seo blog and look at their structure it become clearly apparent they don't use breadcrumbs either.

What i am curious about is this;

I've noticed a few blog use breadcrumbs on their category pages (which i assume are not pages they actively try to rank as they also have no content apart from links to post) but NOT on their normal pages and posts (obviously to avoid fucking with keyword density).

What is your opinion on the above strategy?

of course. it "helps u" if you dont know what you are doing anyway.

but if you are better at internal linking id pay more attention to links than just using breadcump as theres a lot of waste in the air

well all anchors caused by breadcrumbs have the same text so that could be some overoptimization thing in case of big sites.
