Hey All :)

As a newbie I wanna asking about this..I bought hosting package it's for 1 year , however I never used till 4 months :( because I was bussy and should work in real life, now I decided to build some blogs for some microniche topic.. ,
my question is... is blogging still profitable for making money online especially with adsense or other advertsment ? because you know video platform like Youtube and tiktok are more popular now :)

Thank u :)

Blogging was, still is, and will be profitable.

The thing is, people, go for the "money route", meaning - They will check what's trending and start building in that niche.

After 3 months, they see what they already knew before starting...

For me personally, if you want to start with anything today, you have to love that and have passion for it.

Especially if you have no money to invest in "trying" to speed up the process.

Combine all of this together, you don't have to show your face in clips, there are tons of cool software online, free and paid for video creation.

And once again, go with something you love... Don't let what is popular and already built pull you, how many times have I done that LOL

All the best.

Good content is always profitable, at least in the long run. @MrDenz is spot on about blogging about what you love. That way, you won't get de motivated when you don't see results quickly.

Just keep in mind that blogging and content sites have changed a lot in these years. It can take a lot longer to see results now. And it can be competitive, so just grind hard and reap your results :D

Thank u Askh881 for your sharing about current situation :)

If you dedicate your time, yourself and really want to get something to work, it will,
it's really up to you and how much do you have & willing to give to get back, as much as everything else in life,
and yes, blogging is much easier and profitable than many other jobs/businesses, especially if you pick the right niche ;)

Blogging is cool, and is still profitable
as many people hear has said, Focus on passion and allow the passion to drive you, while you pay more attention on the quality of your contents, Best of luck

It is and will always be. Same for TY or Tiktok. It boils down to your personal preferences.

It's harder than ever because google algo favors authority sites, increasingly. google any niche long-tail keyword, 10/10 or 9/10 are authority sites.
This happened in the last 6 months.
Ideally google algo wants you to buy from wirecutter owned by new york times, image the combined authorty levels going over the roof, or via google ads.
You need multiple sites and multiple years if you are a newbie. Because some sites will fail.
As a side hustle forgets about it.

Yes. blogging is cool, and is still profitable :)

yes, blogging is still really profitable. You can make very good money without investing a tremendous amount of time.

I understand the subtext of this question because, let me tell you, back in 2008 when I started blogging seriously, it seemed that the moment you publish a post, everybody gets to see it.

Anybody with more than two brain cells who would hit less saturated but highly commercially lucrative keywords was making money hand over fist

I'm not gonna lie.

With the second wave of blogs that I put up on the Internet, I didn't know what I was doing.

But I still managed to learn from my earlier mistakes and make money.

In fact, one of my blogs was making well over $2000 a month.

Think about that!

I published something several months ago, and I still make 2000 bucks off that content month after month.

Crazy, right?

Well, it's still possible today but not in the same form as past bloggers may have grown accustomed to.

Things are harder today because you can find a keyword that your competitors are underserving and get it to rank, but the timeline is different.

Back in the day, it didn't take long for the traffic to come.

Today, depending on the niche of your keywords, you can wait anywhere from six months all the way to two and more years.

That's commitment, that's dedication.

So, yes, blogging is still profitable and the traffic will come, but do you have the commitment?

Can you dedicate yourself to this process?

Remember, you're gonna have to publish content even though you don't expect traffic for months on end.

Can you wait that long?

The good news is the moment you get consistent traffic, your blogs can be way more profitable than you initially expected.

How?

Sell your own products.

I don't care whether you sell courses, books, seminars, or whatnot.

Sell your own products.

This is much better than affiliate marketing.

In fact, it blows away affiliate marketing.

Remember, when you are selling somebody else's product, you are at the mercy of their ability to sell.

What if they can't sell shit?

What if they don't know what the fuck they're doing?

Then, you're screwed!

Forget that!

Sell your own products because you know your traffic way better than anybody else.

You know which pages get a lot of love.

You know which internal links people go through.

So, when you get all that information and you profile your actual customers the right way, you can get the right offer in front of the right eyeballs at the right time.

And this translates to money.

Sell your own products.

The good news is coming up with your own digital products is not as expensive as you may think.

It actually is. People consume all sorts of contents these days. As long your blog sparks people's interest, it's just a matter of time when you rake in the traffic. A lot of the travel blogs are getting good advertising offers these days.

This is very true OP.
________

There are many big players in the market already, even in the low competitive niches. If you could invest a few thousands of dollars on super low competition niche, I bet you will scale. Now don't expect anything in a rush, do it like you care for people. Sure, quality content + great relevant backlinks are key. It takes time. Maybe some 6 to 12 months to see decent results in SEO efforts with lots of sweat equity. Good luck!
