Yup, blogging can really get you huge traffic. This is why people often make 2-3 posts a week but if you have time you can add in more posts each day.

In my particular real life business most of the comptetions websites are terrible. You also cannot tell when they were updated which means are they still in business? I keep my blog updated at least each week so if someone clicked around they still see me taking pictures and writing about something. To me blogs can help with a lot of other things besides purefly bringing traffic in.

I run a travel agency site and don't have a blog. My site is well over 750 pages with over 500 products. 85% of my customers are one off visitors to my area and one off visitors to my site. A Blog would'nt change those figures much at all. Our website is also covered in pics of me and my family enjoying the things we sell, as well having many personal recommendations.

I'm flat out keeping on top of my ever changing content and rates as well as writing and spinning multiple articles daily, let alone writing a daily blog post.

And we do OK financially without that essential blog.

I think it's not necessary but if you want to attract more visitors and traffic to site so you should write blog posts.

I dont think you have to blog every day, sometimes i only post once a week, but i post any new post to my twitter and facebook and loyal visitors will read

You need to have blog for all business but when u have it it makes so much difference, again if you update it daily with good content then u could easily fetch some money outr of it.
