Blogging is still alive, but it's more competitive. Quality content, strong SEO, and adapting to updates are key to staying relevant.

Blogging is still alive, but success now depends on niche focus, quality, and search intent.
Ranking takes longer due to competition and evolving Google algorithms favoring expertise and depth.

Yes,
follow Google Search Central Blog, @searchliaison on X, and use SEO news sites like Search Engine Roundtable or SEOFOMO for quick updates.

Blogging isn't dead, but it's evolving. Sites struggle due to outdated strategies and poor content. To succeed, focus on high-quality content, user engagement, and SEO best practices. Quality and adaptation are key.

Blogging ain't dead, it's just evolving :) Gotta adapt to AI, EEAT, and tighter SERPs SEO isn't what it was in 2015

Blogging is not dead — but it's evolved.

Low-quality, generic blogs are dying due to stricter Google updates and AI content overload. But blogs that offer original insights, expert opinions, strong E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authority, trust) and real value still rank and thrive.

Blogging is for sure not dead. But it's become challenging these days due to AI and Google updates. You have to work harder than before to rank.

Blogging isn’t dead, but low-quality sites are getting hit. To rank now, you need real value, niche expertise, and strong content. It’s quality over quantity.

I don’t think blogging is dead, but it change a lot. Before, it was easier to get traffic just by writing and posting. Now, with so much competition and Google updates, it's harder to rank if your content is not really strong or unique. Also, many small blogs get hit by AI content or bigger websites copying ideas. But still, if you write with passion and focus on specific niche, blogging can work. Just need more patience and smart strategy now.

Blogging is still alive, but it's not easy like before. Many sites don’t rank now because SEO is harder and Google changed. You need real value, not just words. So yes, blogging works, but only if you do it smart.

Blogging is not dead — lazy blogging is not dead.
If your content doesn’t provide value, insight, or real experience, you won’t survive in today’s SERPs. It’s not 2015 anymore. You need to think like a brand, not just a blogger.

Blogging is still alive to age of 90s i think, They still publish blog and read blog regularly.

As you said, most of the blogging sites are down. Only few are getting indexed.
Having good content is fine, but we need to sites to post on those.

I am talking about web 2.0's.

Blogging is still alive. Many sites fail because they use thin content and ignore SEO changes. Well researched, helpful articles on real problems continue to rank and drive traffic.

No, blogging isn’t dead, but it has changed a lot. What’s happening now is not the death of blogging, but the death of low-value, AI-spammed, SEO-only blogging

blogging not dead but def not easy like before. ai search n google updates messed up traffic for a lot of ppl. u gotta be real niche now or bring vibes no one else got

Blogging isn’t dead. It’s just that it has gotten stricter. If you focus on real value, original content, and a solid niche, you can still do really well.
