Is blog commenting still working

I think blog comment is useful for backlink. Blog comment help to get more traffic in your site.
So I think blog commenting is still working.

I think niche relevant comments still work! build comments from different IP addresses, different names, different post and you'll still take advantages of this link building technique.

According to me, forum posting is more baneficial than blog commenting, you get fast result from forum commenting.

Ya blog commenting still working it useful but if blog and comment session is do-follow otherwise there is no use of commenting.

Yes,blog commenting is still working as the comments given on blogs should be in favor of article.Niche relevancy, their reputation and other factors should be also considering this strategies.

It still works but you must leave unique ones and of a high quality.

yes blog commenting is better way for backlinks but only quality blog commenting work like low obl and ******** backlinks, and unique domain as far as possible if you buy blog comments in these things so you don't waste you money and i recommend also niche relevant blog comments you can got more info about niche backlniks from google thank you:)

Alot of blogs and web 2.0's properties are being made no-follow. They are not what they used to be 2 years ago. Sure it may affect your rankings slightly but I would not rely on it at all. It's more of an indexer tool for your backlinks now. But even then I don't use it personally for big money websites or any of my clients.

It's good for link diversity, but only on relevant and moderated blogs with low obl, imo.

Yes, blog commenting is still working. For effective blog commenting, Put your brand name and your name in the 'name section'.

Yeeah!!! blog commenting is still working ...

Comments do work, but not the automated ones. And both do follow and no follow.
In line with the discussion, i find this article on Moz to be an interesting read on the benefits of no follow links moz.com/blog/the-hidden-power-of-nofollow-links?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Blog comments still work. A couple of the biggest reasons that some ppl don't experience a greater success rate are as follows.

1.Short spammy comments. If you're a webmaster and you've logged into your wordpress blog what catches your eye the quickest and gets put in the spam can the quickest? Comments such as... "Wow great site!" "I found your site through a Google search" "What theme are you sing on your blog?"

These comments tend to be bog standard spam that comes with most SEO tools inbuilt. Do yourselves a favour delete this stuff! And write more targeted niche related comments!

2. Poorly spun comments that aren't readable will flag you as spam and will have a low success rate. To increase your success rate hand spin your comments. If your English is a bit shaky then add something like... "I'm sorry for my poor English as it's not my first language" then this will at least go some way explain to the webmaster why your comments are so grammatically incorrect.

3. Try to get links from ******** low OBL blogs. If you're using a tool like scrapebox you can filter them.

4.Go for blogs that are highly relevant with a high PR these will pass more link juice to your site.

5.If you're using an SEO tool do not blast too much. Drip feed as much as possible.

6.Do not spam the same domain multiple times unless you're posting on different topics and make sure your comments aren't all the same.

7. Create as many spun comments as you can and keep updating them and adding to your SEO tool.

8. Try using manual posting methods. Scrapebox has a manual poster which can be used for good quality highly targetted results,

9.When blog commenting always use multiple site URL's. Do not just use your single home page.

10. Do not overblast your money site. Make use of tiered link building strategies! Your money site should have a few good links to it, but don't overdo it!

11. Spin your comments well. If you don't you'll leave a footprint for other scrapebox users to follow.

12. When comment blasting make sure you use a wide diversity of blog platforms. Eg wordpress, blogengine, joomla, moveable type, image, guestbook etc.

Hope that helps.

just don't spam and comment only on the relevant blogs.

If your comments provide value to the blog you're commenting on there's a possiblity that a blogger will grant you a guest post opportunity. You'll also establish yourself a bit more in the niche you're in and probably earn some referral traffic.

If you want to building backlink with blog comment, thats a bad idea, we should consider blog comment a good form of driving target traffic to your site and build authority instead of mass black hat links.
