Is blog commenting still working

Yes it is if links from related niche, low OBL, updated sites, and active social media accounts.

Definitely!!! if its a good blog and the comment make sense and is related then your actually doing a good job! There are a lot of spam links and comments out there! So as long as you steer clear from those your on the right track!

Yes it still works, but needs to be like 5% of your overall backlink profile.

No if you using basic blog comment strategies, more ver most are no follow now. you can go to some popular news site and participate in debate you might approved, they work for sure .

I think It's very seldom for others to do blog commenting. But I think it's still helpful specially when you are promoting something. Not bad if you'll do it again and again.

Try to place ******** comments. They still works fine.

I use blog comments to get some no-follow links since the most blog are setting the comments to no-follow. But for a good link strategy, you need both do and no follow links.

I guess blog commenting is still the same like it was ealirer. I guess it still works for seo!

Supposed to come across a series while surfing net. " blog commenting is getting outdated". But still we are able to find many crazy lovers of blog commenting. is they still working ? is there any strategies to make it worthy.. Interested member please share your views here,,

Blog commenting still works for me if the site is a high quality site and you're actually writing a relevant comment. They can actually be a really powerful tier 1 type of link in that case, but spam comments are pretty much worthless.

Yes it is working but try to post comments on those which are having best pagerank and which will provide you a link.

Yeah it works but I wouldn't go mass spamming blogs with software anymore.

But quality blogs, low OBL and making manual comments will help SERPs

Blog comments are good for link profile diversification. And I don't agree with the majority here telling that almost all blogs are nofollow now, you just need to know how to search do-follow ones :)

It's kinda nuts that no one has mentioned the traffic generation benefits of blog commenting...

What if in the name field you actually use your name would the name anchor affect back-link diversification if you actually always put the same name?
