Supposed to come across a series while surfing net. " blog commenting is getting outdated". But still we are able to find many crazy lovers of blog commenting. is they still working ? is there any strategies to make it worthy.. Interested member please share your views here,,

comments are made no follow in most of the blogs but still there are do follow comment blogs with less OBL that is good for increasing authority of a website.

Thank you. This means they are still in active right ? can i take it that they favor seo today ?

IMO i don't think they are helpful for serp increase but as said if done on less OBL website with good PR and do follow then your site should gain some authority from it.

Some people think and say they are ineffective others are actually using them to benefit their SERPs. They most definitely do work.

Yes, but you need to use unique commenting on every comment.

Thats right, i have seen many using same contents for all their blog commenting. it really sounds to be ineffective

Blogs comments done on high pr sites/pages works great if the obl is low and the link is do-follow.Some sites can be ranked just with this type of links, but with the latest updates I would play safe and diversify my platforms and anchors.

Cheers

Thank you .. had a good update

I'm a firm believer that Blog Comments - those with High PR and low OBL, that is - still offer some real, genuine value when it comes to increasing your SERPs.

I'd suggest you:

a) Remember to use blog comments as one part of a larger, varied link building campaign.

b) Focus on commenting only on blogs that are relevant to your keywords - don't get tempted to chase 'High PR' links that don't have a thing to do with your site.

c) Offer value in your comments and don't just 'hit it and quit it.' Engage the blog author and the other people on the site who are making legitimate comments. If the blog is relevant to your site, like suggested, the people involved in this conversation are literally your target audience - the people you're hoping to drive to your site.

Blog comments still hold immense value, I feel. You just need to be more selective of where you place them and hold yourself to a higher standard when it comes to what you actually put into your comments

Got a brief outlook, thank you

If possible can you please explain us the ways you know

For Blog Comments simple and Straightforward advice would be to stick with High Quality and LOW OBL sites and ONLY LINK with brand anchor for Example ( NAKED SITE like www.yoursite.com or site.com or just Site name)

It produces great results for me.

you mean only the naked url work outs better

Google have greatly devalued majority of those spammy stuff. And no one is ready to share what works because it will soon be public and devalued as well.
this is the concept which i came across while searching
