So IMO, Blackhat in terms of link blasting may be affected at the moment. Those sites that have mass link profile, looks like getting their link juice reduced to almost nothing. Even when you negative SEO someone - it may not work, as it looks like spam sites do not carry juice. Churn and burn using mass link blasting isn't working as it used to last time. But if blackhat using another method, that may be something different, but one thing for sure, the cost for mass link blasting has gone up considerably, up to the point that knocks any newbie efforts in gaining traction in the respective field.

I am not going to give you shit so you can destroy my site to get to a worthless place like #8, you get maybe 1/3% of the traffic, the rest goes to Googles buddies like Amazon and yelp and angieslists, content doesn't have ANYTHING to do with it, it never has and it never will, not even with the AI, again if your content is king nonsense was true in any way shape or form these sites would never be in the top 30, let alone be on the first page with MULTIPLE listings
You don't have to get so up-tight dude content is king but drama is queen=fc-dh ,
Im looking to learn ,share, and debate to find a better way ..........
all im saying is quality over quantity and Content is if not king at least prince!

I have been working on a new form of SEO that has been showing results " uniques " All business and google cant sensor it
Ill tell you guys how it goes im in the last phase of beta but it has been showing phenomenal results

IMO, no. There may be a decline but some still works. It may change but it still exists.

I think google is to powerful and should be broken up in-to more SE....
Thier AI is rediculiously competitive

I love this post BECAUSE it is almost perfect excluding the variable.516 years ago the Earth was Flat.Today Elon Musk can fly to the moon
I don't you understand the true potiential on AI if "precision and accuracy over spamming now" is our problem than I'm shoud go become
a painter BECUASE I will never be able to keep up with that of AI unless most people become a ML AI Research Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or something which will probably take more years then they have left.I'm lucky I have started on machine learning experiments about
2 years ago but it will for sure displace 1000's of people.
LEARN COMPUTER SCIENCE TODAY AT LOOK ME UP HAHA
well considering i am cse fresher myself with loads of similar experience
but i didnt mean that we can compete with actual AI all i meant is that.. the level of AI they can use to process SERPS is not tooo high due to computational limitations...so if they contribute their whole resources then it wont be feasible or profitable to company. hence my arguement that we will always be able to understand the factors working and running around its just matter of using brains over brawns(spamming with bots)

googles research ("Project Magenta") look it up if you not familiar.Point being it's not long now before our brains and our brawns are renderd
useless unless your a CS tier 3 and better I for-see a rough lots of coffie or green-tea filled nights...

It is a serious question, is BLACKHAT SEO dying out slowly? Since begining of this year (2017) its taking even longer than before to see the impact of backlinks and mostly the alghoritms catch up on everything, I'm serious, buying links still works but you have to spend so much $$$ to even move and to get to top 5 is costing enormous amounts of money (for medium - low competition keywords)

Seriously, even low comp keywords are taking soooo long to see any effect and its getting tougher and tougher soon it will come to the point that it will be too expensive to even move to 2nd page and not profitable anymore, which of course is the point of all this.

Google adwords taking so many spaces on 1st page that is it becoming ridicilous, seriously by end of 2018 BLACKHAT SEO might get too expensive except enormous agencies with clients with deep pockets.

What are your thought, seriously Im asking this, don't troll ffs.

Whitehat still works and will work in future, but earning some serious $$ is going to take you eternity.
Black SEO will be here forever. Believe me.

Here's the problem with framing the "death" of BH SEO relative to time and speed.

It is true that back in 2013 you could buy a service for $100 / month and rank #1 in 3-4 weeks for some of the most competitive terms in the world.
But there's another TRUE fact about this time frame that noone ever talks about.

That fact being, as fast as I (or you) could use that same strategy, rank sites fast and make easy money.... YOUR COMPETITION WAS DOING THE SAME THING.

People think of 2012-2013 like the golden era of BH. But those years were incredibly volatile and everyone knows this.

As fast and easy as you could rank #1 I could slip in and outrank you a week later.

Now there's far LESS volatility which means far more sustainability. Where it takes much much longer to get to the top that means ONCE YOU GET THERE you're staying there
for a long fucking time.

Furthermore, there are really small changes that could be made which if accomplished would change the entire nature of SEO. Same as the space race. Everyone kept saying
the space race was "dead" until Elon Musk came in and engineered a new rocket that reduced the cost of thrust by >>>90%.

Now imagine that happening with PBNs. Most the cost of "thrust" with PBNs isn't the scraping or metrics or even the content it's the time required for a human to pick THE DOMAINS.
I waste more time analyzing domains than anything I can think of.

But what happens when some disgruntled ex-Google employee starts investing money (or tradecraft) into AI and makes a program that can pick domains better than Google or any
human alive?

Imagine if that happened tomorrow. Imagine if Russia hacked Google than leaked the code to their algorithm right online? Just IMAGINE.

Very small changes can wreak massive disruptions that fundamentally flip the game and put tons of leverage back in our hands. We know because its already happened.

Let's go back to the era before Senuke or GSA were ever invented. Imagine me back then talking like I am now. How some incredible innovation could turn the tides and make money
rain on noobs who DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT SEO. People would think I'm crazy. Right until the day both those programs were released, money started to pour and everyone
simultaneously realized just how dumb Googles algo really was.

So again. We're talking in 2017 like this can't happen again but it can. It likely will. And I think the smartest thing we can do as a community is help identify where most of that "thrust" is
actually being lost. And also agree on basic things that software will never do.

Like the age of a domain as a factor of thrust. It is WELL WORTH IT to spend $10-$20 today so you have a 1-2 yr old domain in the future to start dropping links vs a brand new
domain which has to be one of the first red flags Google looks for. In most cases a 3 month old domain shouldn't have many (if any) links at all.

This is why I buy a surplus of domains it costs $10 / yr per domain just to hold them. Go out and buy more domains than you need. Then maybe this forum can start to debate and
coalesce around new ideas like crowdfunding. This is a marketing forum many of us share the same objectives. And where I understand we all compete it's really not a bad idea to start
pooling money for R&D. There should be brilliant engineers on this forum who pitch brilliant ideas, we let the freemarket & forum carve off some fat then crowdfund our money and
help get new ideas off the ground.

Algorithms aren't written only in code. They're written into our minds, how we think and adapt to new scenarios it's this algorithm in our brains we need to use more.

Hi,
On my point there is no such a thing like white hat or black hat seo, everyone is trying to trick google to get better serps in most cases getting links.., so intent is the same, the way of getting links - that`s the difference, google made this BackLinks White Hat/Black Hat Game which has nothing common with relevance. Who can say that manual link biulding better than automatic comments submissions, PBNs, bullshit social signals or any other kind, if promoted really quality product... Relevance is about product quality which can not be measured by backlinks, we all playing this game invented by big brother - Submit & Pray:), which is blackHat.. till google change it`s rules regarding baclinks, we are all in a blackhat box:)

To everyone: Please Dont call me about my Beta Case Study
1 Its Priviate
2 Its just a small group of us
3 Im just here to learn share Help if I can but besides that Nothing else
4 If a moderator can tell me why the 15 post red sign is still on me I would be most appreciative
also where is the upgrade i found it and for some reason its not showing up ..
Thank you guys

BlackSEO is DEAD Quiz :Apple just Hired a bunch map Techs (WHY?) ......serp**&^

blackhat to rank in google, yes. but for social media traffic, defs not!

as long as there are big internet companies, there will be small out fits making products
to adapt with the changing times and methods of the day. loose today win tomorrow
back n forth.

The world of SEO is a very dynamic world. It changes rapidly irrespective of whether it is white-hat SEO or blackhat SEO. It has to be this way if the search engine companies are to remain profitable & viable companies.
Those involved in SEO (blackhat & whitehat) must therefore remain nimble if their efforts are to remain worthwhile. If the prey changes its ways the predator must also change its ways or it will go hungry.
