Tired of reading guide telling us seo is simple, just write content in great quality, get great backlinks, great blabla...

All the tips given by gurus are all the same. If then, what's the difference between white and black

In fact, the difference is not very big, but if the white is overdone, it will become black

Look closely and you will find the difference between both. It took us years to learn the basic difference between both methodologies, and it’s not easy to pen it down all here at once.
Maybe it's because their difference is just a piece of paper

There is an entire industry based on BlackHat when you talk about Finance.

The difference is the methods we use in both. In the real world, experienced SEO’s almost follow 90% white-hat techniques while employing 10% Black Hat techniques to meet their objectives.

You cannot really start understanding the concepts, unless you have tried it out on your own in a sample project of yours that can seemingly fail.

If you don't understand by reading the suggestions and instructions of SEO experts, then start practicing them on your own site.

That's the only way to understand SEO better.

what's the difference between white and black
white - do what google tells you (which might, or might not rank your site)
black - do what works for ranking your site (which is what google almost never tells you)

Is blackhat dead
did sites stop ranking by manipulating google's weaknesses? I don't think so...

So, no, blackhat is not dead

Reading guide okay implementation is what matters. There’s so many nice guides here and most recently @splishsplash has posted some real gems and if they yet don’t give you a head start then i don’t know what will

It could take up to 6-8 months to gain traction with a fresh domain
How many sites have you worked on and what's the outcome so far?

White is a myth.

Black is a way with risks and potential results.

Grey is a way with lesser risks and potential results.

Blackhat forum is so active, so black hat is so alive!!!

Intentionally doing something to match the algorithms comes under blackhat - say PBN, other types of links building.
With whitehat, no risks and penalty

i was just tired of people talking about blackhat but (maybe of course) actually there's nothing about black method. Foir sure the key to someone's strategy never revealed.
