Is Bitly "Trusted" ?

I am basically asking this question because some people claim that link shorteners redirect people to other pages sometimes.
So instead of redirecting them to your page they redirect them to some random page/ad instead.

So i was wondering if this is true? And if Bit.ly is safe for use?

It's the most trusted redirect website which is used by the biggest youtubers.

Not sure they are trusted or not. But I always use Google Link Shorter Its the best in my opinion.

I agree, but they ban my PPD links so it's not possible for me to use Google Links
