Hello sir, i lost money with trading bitcoin. i think bitcoin is dead, what do you think?
Heya Zlatan,

I am not sure if it is a sarcastic question ( I am not good at finding sarcasm :) ).

But to answer your question, the possibility of a fork in bitcoin is what is causing the issue in bitcoin and all the other coins more or less follow the bitcoin price fluctuations to a certain extent.

This is not the right time to day trade bitcoin if you don't have prior experience in trading these.

I too had lost money but it was mainly due to day trading and using higher margins (stupid of me) but my prior profits still keep me in green.

If you had invested when the coin was at the max (~$2600) you will be seeing some loss.

If you are planning to do a long term investment, leave it be. If it is a short term investment then either convert the coins to USD before 31 july and then reenter at an optimal price range (after seeing what happens on 1st Aug) or if you are willing to take a risk, leave it be.

Regards,
Distym
