If your site is at the top of Bing, does that matter? I just checked my site is at the top of Bing and on page 5 of Google. I'm getting 10-20 visitors per day. I think they're all from Bing.

Any free keyword research tool for Bing that shows you searches per month etc.? Same keyword has 9000+ exact US searches on Google. I wanna find out the searches on Bing.

I have heard from many webmasters that Bing traffic is the most quality traffic you can get...:)

I'm not sure about that since I've always seen everyone worrying about Google only. But its good if thats true. Any free Bing keyword research tool you know of?

I can assure u that Bing paid traffic is pretty good. it used to be crap at the beginning, but as time goes by, they're getting close to adwords in terms of traffic and cost. Moreover, for some niches they even convert better. So, I assume it's same regarding the organic serps.

This thread might give u some insights regarding Bing popularity:

I don't know about the quality of the traffic from Bing but my experience is that when i loose for a few days #1 on G00gl3 search i lost 1/3 of my traffic althou i was #1 in Bing (and Yahoo).

Bing is taking over the world soon, just wait and see. I get more converting traffic from bing.

Never could understand why alot of people ignore bing, alot of our clients sites get 10X better conversion rates from bing then they do google. Bing is growing and doing well, while there not matched in traffic with google, give it time as they are slowly chipping away at google every month.

I agree with the other posters. people on bing dont argue over price, they convert much easier.

Okay, seems like a lot of people are advocating for Bing.

Any free Bing's keyword research tool you guys know of?

Bing traffic converts far better than googles, probably because the surfers eyeballs aren't bleeding from trying to discern adverts from serps. Just a shame there isn't a great deal of traffic from them.

How can you try to rank higher on Bing aside from Google? Do they go about checking backlinks the same way as google?

bitch please

Is Bing no longer powered by Yahoo?

I know back in the day, getting a directory listing through Yahoo was a definitive way to get higher SERP's for Yahoo. From my current (limited experience as of recent), Bing users do having a higher ctr and duration from my analytics, but as mentioned above by others the traffic is far lower.

You definitely want diversity, let alone relying on Google solely so I'm surprised Bing isn't a bigger hit yet as far as SEO goes.

I don't seem to get much traffic from Bing even with high rankings. I have some keywords that are in the thousands a month for google searches and rank high in Bing and I only get trickle traffic from it.

Same here. My site's keyword is 9000+ on Google. Don't know what it is on Bing but the site is number 1 on Bing but I only get 10-15 visitors from that daily.

You can always check your Search Engine traffic sources at GA, so check this out and find out
