    Hey everyone,
I've been a long time reader of the forum and just recently been a member. It's a fantastic community of very helpful members and I'm very glad that I'm a part of it.

I've been working as an SEO for over 4 years and have been a long time member of the warriorforum. I have worked for a few guys over there in the past and helped them in their projects. I had started a pinterest project of my own last year that did not go according to plans and I've been looking for work ever since. I've managed to find a few gigs here and there but I'm looking for a more stable work so that I won't have to look into each and every forum for work every other day.

I checked the BHW marketplace but it looks like a place that I won't be able to fit in. There are people offering services as a part of a company which I won't be able to do at the moment. I'm just one man.

So I've come out here to ask you people some advice on how I could find some work in here. I'm looking to work as a VA for someone who could offer me stable work(40+ hours a week). I could help out in SEO as per clients instructions since I have years of experience in the field. I could also work as a data entry VA or even help people with medium quality content writing. I could also work as a chat support VA or a telephone support VA. I've worked as a customer support executive in a BPO for a year handling clients from the US and for a non native speaker, I have excellent written as well as spoken English.

Can some of you please give me some tips on how to get started? The BHW marketplace looks like a very crowded place and since I don't have any reviews to show for, it becomes even more difficult to stand out. What should I do? Any help would be appreciated.

    Ben

You should probably just look for work on a freelance website.

Someone with 4 years of SEO experience shouldn't really need to ask how to make money.

Start a freelancing profile on one of those sites and list your skills. Pretty simple...

A year ago I lost a lot of money on a project. I had to quit SEO and wait tables to earn myself a living. It's been a very tough year. I took a break for almost a year and just recently been looking for work in the internet. I know I shouldn't be seeking advice on how to make money but this is a fresh start for me and I have to get started somewhere.

I really appreciate your advice though. I'll look into it. :)

Keep checking the hire a freelancer section here...but in the meantime I would try to build up a good profile on as many other freelancer for hire sites as possible. Take your time to really spell out what you are capable of. Good luck man.

Really impressive English for a non-native speaker.

I'd just do freelance work here and there and work on building 2 or 3 of your own SEO projects that you can both earn an income from and show to potential clients as proof of your abilities.

    Best of luck!

Don't be discouraged that you have to start it all as a single man, once you have the potential to get good clients, you can always build a team. You can also look at joint ventures in BHW that might open out new opportunities.

True, it will be difficult to handle at first, but once you put in your effort and time, you will not have time to look back!

    Good luck to you!

Definitely roll up your sleeves, and get your hands a little dirty on the Hire-A-Freelancer section. These gigs are usually pretty easy to line up, and can sometimes lead to recurring work. Even to this day I sometimes come back here and slum up some freelance work. Made plenty of money over the years providing services to people as needed.

The marketplace on the other hand is for a more established work-flow. Generally you would want to build a reputation before offering services there partially because of the cost of Jr.VIP membership, plus the cost of the BST.

I'm thinking about joining fiverr. It looks easier to get started there than other freelancing sites like freelancer and upwork. What do you reckon?

I've been following the hire a freelancer section for a while and I've noticed that the demand for native writers is huge but there're just a handful of posts looking for non-native writers. I'm still looking though. :)

Thanks. :) English has always been a favorite subject of mine and I've worked really hard to get better at it. I can't compete with a native writer but I think I can definitely write better than a lot of services being offered in the BHW marketplace. I don't mean to solicit but would you think of me if you ever need some articles written in the future? :p

Thanks. I need to start somewhere and I think fiverr would be a good place. I'd definitely look into joint ventures section too.
