Is Bermanhosting really that bad?

So Bermanhosting is pretty much the cheapest VPS I've found to run my SEO tools (Scrapebox, Magic Submitter, GSA etc.) but I've read mixed reviews about them -- people saying that all the positive reviews are false.

Is this true? Can anyone respectable on here vouch for their services? Also, are there any discounts available?

I read some positive reviews here about bermanhosting and i decided to host with them. I submit a ticket and send them multiple tickets, i didn't get a single reply until three weeks later when i have purchase from another weeks. I don't know about their hosting service, but their customer service sucks!
 
Used them around a year ago for 6 months. Won't be using them again due to multiple down times. The standard reason the owner 'Sven' gave was the node the VPS was on was unstable. Each time the VPS rebooted, causing any running software to shut down and data lost. After more than 5 times of being 'unstable' I decided to look elsewhere. Yes, it's cheap, but you can't buy the time back each time you need to setup the VPS again and again.

If you're business runs 24/7 and you need a VPS to do the same, then spend money on a reliable VPS. Have a search for good reviews on the 'web hosting talk' forum and look for established hosting companies with a good reputation.
 
Any other recommendations guys -- now that Bermanhosting is out of the picture? I'm looking for a good annual deal on a 2 GB VPS.
 
I made a nasty post about them yesterday, because my experience has been really bad, but in all honesty I chose them after heaps of research because alot of people gave genuine good reviews and they looked good to me then, maybe I was just unlucky?

Try hostamus, they have fast support, I tried them using their $5.
 
I didnt have any problems with Berman but yeah their support sucks ass. They will setup ur VPS within 6 to 12 hours but when you send them a ticket they take upto 24 to 48 hours. So if your VPS is dead for some reason just pray that they will reply soon.

But my VPS rarely faces any problems. I would suggest OP to go for the VPS extreme package and give it a try for 7 days. There is a refund policy anyways. Everything works fine and speed is around 76 Mbps on 100 Mbps speed and unmetered connection which is pretty legit. All softwares work smooth

I'am using them cca. 3 months. I really do not have any problem so far. Previously i have using BHS VPS with pre-installed software, but now i 'am satisfied more that with BHS. I had only one question in this 3 months and i received answer i a couple of hours. Up time till know was 100%. So i think that all users do not receive the same quality service, as it seams. Why is that, i do not know. Also please note that i do not have anything with Berman hosting, this is just my opinion...
 
I'm using them for long time so far didn't had big problems
 
Sven has to much work but it's cheap and for some things it's good and for it's not.

I have a box there 21$ or something per month (don't recall) does what i need...
But i will need it for something to run 24/7 using a couple of Ip's real soon.
Then maybe i won't be that polite lol....

about berman.. i was with them for couple of months and never had a single problem with the VPS, though their support is kinda slow to respond..
 
I have tried 'em b4 at times their support seems to be slow but not really bad will deffo vouch if you'r looking for cheap vps

Seem right. i am too using their hosting service since last 5/6 months. no issue so far.
 
I had a VPS with them last year for around 5 months and found the service to be quite good. One problem I did have with them is the server would occasionally re-start without warning, which was quite annoying, but it just meant I never ran any time sensitive jobs on it (had other servers for that).
 
I have been with them for 0ver 6 months for windows VPS and have to say that while the support might be slow, the service isn't bad for what is paid. The speeds are slow at times but if you can time it in hours when there is less load on the server the speeds are amazing and well worth it.

People here once thought that it was run by a single guy called sven as he was replying to all of the tickets. But now i think there are more of them but also tons of more users as well which is why some support request pass by un noticed or something. But i have been getting good service so i can vouch for them for now.

Also they have automatic VPS shutdown, restart and boot options on the web control panel which can be used to restore the vps. While this isn't the best solution when you have bots or software running, its better to use it than contacting the support, though it doesn't work sometimes for me. Then i use the support tickets.
 
Yes they are pretty bad! I had some of the worst experiences with them. Their servers are way oversold!
