people use spammer as insult, so called tech expert often negate spammers with cybercriminals

i looked up the definition and

sounds to me like the definition of an advertiser, only with the difference that an advertiser pays for advertisements, as opposed to a spammer who do it for free :D

Nearly everything on the internet is spam now. I consider legit ads spam, not just unsolicited messages.

Spam is a good thing for us, and a minor annoyance for others nowadays, but not as bad as it was or it was made to be back in the late 90's/early 00's.
 
Its 2024, there is no such thing as Good bad.
 
Spam, by don't reveal you identity else someone will go to review sites and give you 1 star all over the place and you will get spammed hard.
 
Reddit is the worst type of spam

Ads and other social media are moderate spam

Blackhatworld lowest level of spam

Good/bad is just the extremes. Somewhere in the middle, not great, not terrible :D

The similarity is that they both are disruptive and deceptive.
