Is Autoresponder Professional or Annoying?

i think it's yesterdays tactic..2000 - 2006 it was great but now it doe snot sell so well. Too much spam, others doing it, etc... I.M.H.O.
lol, I don't like it either. But I use it for others. That's why I though if I have to remove it. It's is a Mail saying I will reply in 24-48 hours for every mail that comes to my inbox.
So if your collective option is to remove, I would. I obey BHW

Actually, I think IMers that send an email trying to sell something to their list every day are annoying. But if done correctly and you frequently offer something of value for "Free", then your subscribers will be glad to pay for your recommended products also. Just don't email them EVERYDAY with another Great product that you're endorsing to take their hard earned money.
As marketers ourselves it's easy to get annoyed at things that really work. Just like using a Pop-up to capture their email address on your site. You'll get 10 times more sign ups with a pop up form than one that's located somewhere on your site. Many of us IMers are annoyed at pop ups but they work.

I don't personally find that annoying. I think it gives a professional touch to your service. But I can definitely see why this person is complaining. I'm curious, why does he or she need to contact you that many times? I hope he/she is one of your biggest clients. In my experience, these types of customers are a big PITA.

Like I said. As IMers (Marketers) we do not like it although, it works.
Hint, IF you see the same thing being done over and over and over and over...IT'S BECAUSE IT WORKS. I'm in the Postal Marketing business and customers tell me the same thing about certain types of annoying advertising that they see other business owners doing over and over and over and over...and I tell them if these companies were losing money they wouldn't be doing it over and over and over and over Right?...well you get the idea.
Good luck in whatever you do but remember what they say..."The Money Is In The List".

I know it's PRO and not annoying. But many do find it so. Same messages goes every time. Client did complain, but even stock broker, my dadall complains that.
